It's time to play Did You Know? I always love when you find out that someone's voice or acting is in a movie and you didn't realize who they were at the time. So, here's a list of people that I freaked out about when I realized it was really them.
1. Willem Dafoe famous for playing the Green Goblin in the Spider-man series, also plays the voice of Gill in Finding Nemo. I am sure your whole head just exploded over that one.
2. The father in The Indian in the Cupboard is played by Richard Jenkins. Jenkins also plays the father in Step Brothers. Two father roles that could not be any more different if they tried. He is excellent in both films, but of course I favor his performance in Step Brothers.
3. Christian Bale, our favorite Batman who just recently starred in The Dark Knight Rises also starred in a classic Disney movie back in the day. That's right, Bale offered his voice to play the role of John Smith's best friend, Thomas in Pocahontas.
4. Julia Loius-Dreyfus played the ever hilarious Elaine on Seinfeld but she also played the main role in A Bug's Life as Atta, the princess, soon to be queen of the ant world.
5. As everyone's favorite husband in Hairspray, Christopher Walken shines. But he also gave his voice to Colonel Cutter in Antz. And seriously if you haven't seen that movie, get on it right now! One of my favorites.
6. Rowan Atkinson, my favorite man from Rat Race, where his character is infamous for his narcolepsy, also stars in the Lion King as the annoying know-it-all Zazu.
7. Ralph Fiennes, one of the greatest actors alive in my opinion, plays Voldemort in the Harry Potter franchise. But did you know that he was also in The Prince of Egypt? He plays the character of Rameses.
8. Another Prince of Egypt voice shocker is that of Sandra Bullock playing Miriam, Moses' sister.
9. Robbie Coltrane everyone's favorite half-giant Hagrid in the Harry Potter franchise was also just featured in Brave as Lord Dingwall, the leader of the Dingwall clan.
10. John Ratzenberger has starred in every Pixar film. He can be heard as Hamm in all three Toy Story films as well as the Abominable Snowman in Monsters Inc.
