Hunger Games Midnight Showing

Jentertainment goes to the movies. Last night, I hit the theater and tried to find some extreme fans. I managed to find some great fans at the midnight premiere of The Hunger Games. They were all fantastic. I want to share some fan photos and quotes with you guys! Look for my full blog later on my personal reactions to the film.

The top picture features Rachel dressed as of course, Katniss. Her attitude was awesome and she was pretty excited for the show. Of course her outfit was inspired by the scene where Clove throws the knife at Katniss' head.
The next picture features some crazy fans of Liam Hemsworth. These guys had not read the books but were pretty excited, and definitely Team Gale. From left to right: Sarah Berkowitz, Savannah Oddo and Joe Terranova. Savannah claimed before the show: "I'm jumping off the walls with excitement!"
The third picture features some pretty awesome girls names Sara Haug and Taylor Harvey. Sara is Team Peeta with Taylor is Team Gale, can their friendship survive the games?! But in all seriousness, their outfits were fierce. It was great to meet you girls!

Our last fan photo is great too! I didn't get a chance to get their names but these girls were definitely pumped up for the film, running through the theater.

Lastly for this post, I got some awesome quotage from a friend, Collin Campion, both before and after the film to get his reactions.

Before the film: So, I'm excited because there's been a lot of hype and a lot of fresh faced actors. Jennifer Lawrence is hilarious and I want her to be my best friend. I read the book and I really liked it."
After the film: "I liked the movie but found myself comparing it to the book the entire time. The film could have gone more in depth with the character relationships. I did like the visuals of The Capitol fashion and decors. Aaand I felt like the desperation and violence should have been amped up.

All I can say is Collin, I agree with you one hundred percent! Tune in at noon for my full coverage and reaction to the movie!

  1. I think we did talk about "Humger Games" also. I was so comparing it to the book also. They were lacking with the depth of the character relationships. I was really disappointed with the final scene.
