Let's get real guys, we all know that I adore Meryl Streep. I am in rivalry with a few people in this world to be her biggest fan. But as a fan, I know my boundaries. Today, the world is hearing of a fan who couldn't control herself. She pushed the limit and got herself kicked off of an airplane.
You are now all wondering what the heck I am taking about. Well, a Whitney Houston mega-fan, who is probably still mourning the death of the iconic pop star, broke out into Houston ballads on a flight from Los Angeles to JFK in New York. Apparently, she refused to stop singing and was annoying both personnel from American Airlines and passengers on board. She pestered them so much with her voice yelling renditions that the plane had to make an emergency landing in Kansas City International Airport (shout out!!). The woman was escorted off the plane by an air marshall while she was still singing the Dolly Parton version of "I Will Always Love You." So maybe she's a Parton fan too. While she is in Kansas City, after the po-po let her go, she should head over to Branson, Missouri and hit up Dixie Stampede.
I think it's a little bit extreme that a woman was arrested for singing on an airplane, but I guess people are easily annoyed on planes. Maybe she was disturbing the peace and trying to dance with somebody. No matter what her goal was, I hate to say that this woman is now the idiot of the week. She blamed the outburst on her diabetes. I don't know anyone else who has diabetes and sets into singing beloved pop songs when their sugar gets low. I love stories like this. People are crazy, and everyone has an obsession, so here is the one for this week. Wherever you are crazy Whitney fan..I hope they didn't treat you too badly! Sing on!
