I think everyone in almost any country is familiar with Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' infamous 72 marriage. This ridiculousness has been going on for close to two years and I'm serious it's got to stop. The latest news is that Humph didn't show up to a mandatory court date, his reps could not answer any more than that saying it's all confidential under the law. I get that him not showing up for a court date isn't truly entertainment news, but what is news is the fact that Kris is the one who is dragging out all of the proceedings. If he seriously cannot show up to the court dates, should he even be listened to? I feel that the answer to that question is a definitive no.
If you ask me, Kris Humphries is a ridiculous person to begin with. I love the Kardashians, and always will, no matter how much I make fun of them. No matter what ridicule can be tossed their way, and what amount of it is actually true, the bottom line is that they are people too. People with feelings and confusion about those feelings. Kim ran to the altar with a sad excuse for a dog in my opinion, but people make mistakes. I never liked Kris, not from the moment he laughed at Kim when she lost her million dollar earrings in the ocean. He is lazy, arrogant and has always been downright rude. Not to mention the episode to which he responded to his crying fiance who was overcome with emotions about her deceased father with this sentiment: "I'm sorry about your dad Kim." Wow, I am sure that made her feel completely at ease and completely better.
The reason why the court proceedings have been dragged out so long is because of the disagreement of the absolution of the marriage. Kim wants a divorce with Humph is seeking an annulment and calling his marriage a fraud. All I have to say on the matter is that no matter how intoxicated (with love or other substances) you are when heading into marriage, you are legal committing to someone else. There are reasons for annulments, but this is not one of them. On top of all the drama Kim is of course also pregnant with Kanye West's baby and is due in just a few short months. I hope for her case this whole thing can be put to bed before she and Kanye welcome that little K-something into the world.
