Alright, tonight you have a big decision to make. Are you going to watch The Grammy's or the BAFTA Awards? Now, I am not naive. I know that you all don't live for award shows like I do. I am also not under the impression that everyone wants to watch the British Award shows like I do. Some of you already have plans to tune into The Grammy's, so there is no stopping you there.
I really just wanted to write this post to let everyone know that the BAFTA's air tonight. If you have no idea what I am rambling on about, the BAFTA's are the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards. They are a really good show, and yes the nominees are both British and American. It's a fun light award show. Last year Meryl won big for her performance in The Iron Lady. This year the majority of the nominees are the same we have seen at the SAGs and the Golden Globes. But of course, a few more of them are British, which I think is great. Judi Dench is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her film Skyfall. Which if you ask me, she should have been nominated for that role more than once at more than one award show. If you want to tune in it's on BBC.
The Grammy's also air tonight. I am sure that most of you are familiar with this show. It airs on CBS tonight. This award show is all about music. I know I sound like a freak when all I do is watch film and television awards and not music, but we all know that my thing is much more acting over music. I will definitely be posting tomorrow on the highlights from both award shows. If you are watching The Grammy's I am sure that you will see a lot of really "fun" outfits and some epic performances by music's biggest names right now.
