Celebrity Christmas Albums: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

A lot of celebrities out there like to dabble in a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I guess you can't blame them and their PR managers know what they are talking about. They more you dabble, the more money you are likely to come out with. Lots of celebrities dabble in Christmas or holiday albums. For these celebrities who are already vocalists or singers, this can be an especially great way for them to market themselves. But some other people just say, hey I am actor, why don't I sing a few classic holiday hits? Here is your list of the good ones, the bad ones and the ugly ones...Christmas Celebrity Music Edition

The Good
Michael Buble "Christmas"
Everyone loves Buble, and this album is no exception

Harry Connick Jr.  "When My Heart Finds Christmas"
Here is someone who can act and sing. He does both of these thing especially well. Christmas for me has to include at least a few Harry ballads

Mariah Carey "Merry Christmas"
It's a pretty decent album and a few of the numbers have been integrated in radio classics over the years.

The Bad
Cyndi Lauper "Christmas Conga"
It's just bad, enough said.

Clay Aiken "Merry Christmas With Love"
Awful, and sung by one of Santa's very own elves

Cee Lo Green "Run Rudolph Run"
Not only did he change the original title of the song but it's a bad song to begin with. His version is not that much better.

The Ugly
William Hung "Hung for the Holidays"
Your first thought was right, this is the guy from American Idol and his song is despicably and indescribably awful.

John Travolta and Olivia Newton John "This Christmas"
I have actually not heard anything off this album, but everyone says its absolutely horrid.

BONUS Uncategorized song: NSYNC "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays"
Where does it fit on your list? I personally like it but after three hours of it being stuck in your head, its downright horrible.
