The Keys to the Entertainment World

've been dreaming about this series of posts for about three months now. It's been a lot of work to put the list together, but what I really desire to showcase are the people who are the inner-workings of film and television. I don't mean the crew and the producers, I literally mean the actors. These men and woman hold so much authority, power and jurisdiction over movies and television. It seems odd to say that the actors hold the power, but they are ultimately who fulfill the roles that we either love or hate. The control lies within the actor's and actress's hands. These individuals get the parts and become the icons that shape what we as individuals think of films, television shows, documentaries, short movies and they even influence how we feel about fashion, music and more. It's an interesting and somewhat delicate list to carve out, and I gave it my all.

So, just like when I debuted Jentertainment's Top 100 Films there will be twenty names released a day ending with the number one person who I think holds the keys to entertainment, media, television and film all wrapped into one. The thing that is crucial to keep in mind here is that these names will appear in the order of my opinion. But, most of you know how anal I am about getting my facts right, so there has been a lot of researched involved as well.

Spotlight on: Kristen Stewart
If you told me a year ago that I would write about Kristen Stewart frequently on this blog, I would have laughed in your face. I would have laughed even harder if you tried to tell me that I would defend her. But, I have, more than once. I see both sides to Kristen. We have all seen her show no emotion and perform poorly, however, most of us also recognize that there is a talent and presence about her that has surfaced during some of her acting. She makes this list not only because of her acting, but of course because of the Twilight Saga. There is no denying the power of the franchise, even though she has been repeatedly ridiculed and slammed for her portrayal of Bella Swan. It's been an interesting ride for Kristen so far. When I (or someone who emulates me and takes over my blog) tweak this list ten years down the road I can guarantee you that KStew will still be present, probably even a lower number than she is now. She is not a force to be reckoned with and I think that she will be in Hollywood for quite some time!
