I was disheartened to hear the news this morning on the radio that Ed Sheeran has somehow managed to start a relationship with Selena Gomez. Not being a fan of Biebers, I didn't think that Selena could go lower on the social ladder when picking her next beau. But apparently, she can. There is nothing wrong with Ed, but I honestly don't think that he and Selena are anywhere near the same level when it comes to celebrities and the world that we live in. I was starting to think (along with the rest of the world) that Sheeran was dating Swift. I was ok with that because Swifty has dropped majorly in my book, but Gomez is somehow still too good for Ed. I really saw her with someone like Josh Hutcherson or maybe moving onto Liam Hemsworth when he finally decides to ditch Miley once and for all.
It's not like her and Ed are going to get married, but I am still crushed with this news. Hopefully she doesn't stay with him for too long. Sorry if this post is too mean for some of you, but a girl has to be honest about how she feels. Gomez is climbing higher and higher on the charts and she shouldn't let another sub-standard guy get in her way. Best case scenario is that Sheeran builds her up and her reputation continues to climb. Let's hope for that.
