Space scares the crap out of me! I'm deathly afraid of being an astronaut (so thank God that I will never have to do this!). I don't know where the fear comes from, it's obvious that I have never been in space, but nevertheless the fear is there. Even though I'm paralyzed by the fear, for some reason, I really love to watch movies about space. Seriously, Apollo 13 is an absolutely genius film.
This leads me to my point of the my post today, the new trailer for Gravity debuted the other night. I was one of the first people to see it during the premiere of The Great Gatsby. It's a sick trailer and all it shows in a minute and a half is George Clooney and Sandra Bullock out in space when something goes wrong and causes an explosion of their shuttle. The heartbeat in the background gets louder and louder and Sandra Bullock is thrown further and further into the abyss of space. Yeah, so scary! And yet, so genius. And honestly, what could be better than Sandra and Georgey in a movie?! Nothing, that's the right answer. Head over to youtube and watch the trailer for yourself, but don't get too scared!!
