BEST NEWS EVER! Meryl Streep has officially signed on to play the part of the Witch in the screen adaptation of Into the Woods. I couldn't be any more excited unless someone told me that I was going to meet her! Along with her presence there is going to be a lot of other stellar actors involved in the film including Allison Janney, Anna Kendrick, Nina Arianda, Christine Baranski and more. Rob Marshall has taken on the project and it is backed by Warner Bros/Disney, which makes you have faith that it will be a good adaptation. The film is obviously based on the musical Into the Woods which involves different fairly tales woven together into a new story. I am really excited for this. It is not my favorite musical by any means but I am so happy that Meryl has picked up another project. I will keep you updated on this project!
