Globe Nomination Predictions

The Golden Globe Nominations will officially be announced on December 13th at 8:00 am. I started this blog at the height of award show business last year. I have decided that this year I will not only predict the winners of the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Academy Awards; but I will also predict the nominees. Based on this year's track record, I might be off the mark with the nominations, but I am willing to give it a try.

Here's what I know about the Golden Globes: it is a low-key award show (compared to the Academy Awards) in which the Hollywood Foreign Press Association decides upon and votes for the winners. The intimate space in which the stars sit at round tables and are given vast portions of food and alcoholic beverages all ad up to a spectacular night. The champagne is poured, the winners are excited and the acceptance speeches are commonly phenomenal and from the heart. The nominees are always very different every year. The Golden Globes don't have to be as fancy or respectable as the Academy Awards, so they can nominate whoever they choose. It's definitely a fun night.

I am not going to give you the long, drawn out version of my predictions, just the editors cut featuring the most well-known categories. Now remember, you don't have to agree with these; and I am probably wrong about 90% of them. Tune in when the official nominees are announced to prove me wrong.
