I know that you guys really like reading the top 10 posts, and in light of everything that has been going on in Hollywood lately, I have decided this would be a good time for this list. The list gives you the top 10 famous stars that I really cannot stand. Don't take any offense, everyone has different opinions but these men and women just rub me wrong in one way or another.
1. Katy Perry: I seriously cannot stand her. I have no interest in even seeing the preview for Part of Me, let alone the whole film. Every song that she creates goes to the top of the charts, and then America and the rest of the world has to hear the boring, melodramatic tunes every waking hour of the day. Not a fan. I am glad that she and Russell Brand are no longer together, because he deserves better than her, a lot better!
2. Tom Cruise: You guys probably already saw this one coming from my previous posts. I just really don't get what all the fuss is about. Sure, he is mildly good looking and I won't deny that he can act. But aside from that, I don't agree with the scientology stuff and the way he walks around parading it, well frankly, it's annoying.
3. Drew Barrymore: This one is probably a shock for most people, but I have blogged about this before as well. I love, love, love three Drew Barrymore films: Going the Distance, The Big Miracle and He's Just Not That Into You. But, I really dislike Drew Barrymore otherwise. I think with the exception of the films mentioned, she doesn't pick good movies for herself and ends up playing a character actress most of the time. So really, I dislike her because she doesn't release her own potential and all that she has to offer. I hope that she decides to star in more films like The Big Miracle because that would do amazing things for her career.
4. Scarlett Johansson: Yes, she is beautiful, but what else is she offering. If you ask me, the answer is not really all that much. Sure, she was absolutely great in We Bought A Zoo, but that is the only thing I have ever seen her in that redeems her at all. I think she is too into her own body and that's all that comes across in her interviews. Not a fan, I like people who are more down to earth.
5. Anne Hathaway: I guess I am still on the fence on Hathaway, but I feel like the majority of the time she isn't sure what she stands for. She is very critical of other actresses and yet she hasn't done that much herself if you look at her filmography. I liked her when she was young and fresh in The Princess Diaries and of course I put up with her in The Devil Wears Prada where she stars opposite of Meryl Streep. Other than that, I feel like she plays the same role a lot and is a little bit boring. I am disappointed that she was cast as Fantine in Les Miserables.
6. Rihanna: I have never really had anything against Rihanna, but then again, I have never really liked her either. Her songs are nowhere near as bad as Katy Perry's and some of them I actually like. I just don't feel that she is a good role model for girls and with all this new drama with her and Drake and Chris Brown...well it just gives me a big headache. I think she needs to figure out who she is and just focus on her music for awhile, not collaborating with anyone and seeing where that takes her.
7. Kristen Stewart: I will preface this one by saying that I think she finally did a good job in Breaking Dawn Part 1. With that being said, I think she doesn't even act when she is onscreen. Her demeanor is cold and she always seems to be depressed and in a bad mood. She is one of the richest paid actresses in the entire world and she is loved by Robert Pattinson....what more could a girl want?! I hope that in ten years time we still see her in films, but will real acting and not just a pouty face.
8. Justin Bieber: Do I need to say anything else?
9. Megan Fox: She is just too pretty. Sorry, that's mean, but I'm okay with it.
10. Joan Rivers: Have you ever heard her voice before? I mean, seriously. The only redeeming quality about Joan is that Giuliana Rancic gets to be on Fashion Police. Otherwise, she is just annoying and a little dried up. I don't know why she still gets so much attention.
