The Dark Knight Rises Shooting

My thoughts and prayers go out to all who were injured, wounded and/or there at the shooting last night in Colorado. For those of you who are just trying to get information here is what happened. In Aurora, Colorado last night a gunman came into a showing of The Dark Knight Rises and opened fire killing twelve people and injuring what looks to be 38 others. He threw a can of what appears to be tear gas into the theater before he opened fire.

A suspect was taken into custody and did not resist. He had up to five weapons on his person and was indeed wearing a bulletproof vest. The victims are in various hospitals around the Aurora area.

This is a tragedy for our nation and this will change the outlook of midnight showings for years to come. My heart goes out to this situation and to all who are involved. The premiere in London tomorrow for The Dark Knight Rises has been cancelled. I will keep you updated throughout the day as more information becomes available. In the meantime, say a prayer for all those who were killed, injured, present for the situation and all of their families.
