I have updates on two previous posts for you today.
1. Lindsay Lohan's car crash just keeps getting more and more interesting. When the crash took place, it was reported to the police and to the public that Lindsay was the driver of the vehicle. When Lindsay got to the hospital, she reported something different. At the hospital she stated that she was not the driver of the car, but indeed the passenger. Well, we all know now that someone was lying to the police. Lindsay just finally got herself out of the heap of trouble she previously buried herself under. Again, I am not her biggest fan, but I think that we all want Lindsay to succeed.
I mean honestly, who doesn't remember her back in the days of The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Mean Girls? She has real talent and I am hoping that in her case, she can find a way to salvage the other parts of her life and put what needs to be at the center in the center. Her career is hanging by a thread and sooner or later, no one will want to hire her on for big projects. I think it would be a waste of Hollywood talent, and I know that she can pull it together.
So, let's all hope that this accident scuffle gets settled with little or no law enforcement involvement.
2. Thirty-two years later Lindy Chamberlain, the woman who was charged of murdering her daughter Azaria Chamberlain, has been cleared of all charges and proven innocent. You might remember my previous post on the story because we all know the film that was based on this: A Cry In The Dark starring none other than the magnificent Meryl Streep. Even though Lindy Chamberlain was freed from prison many years ago, her name was not full in the clear. This court case was set to prove that, and it did. I am very glad for the whole Chamberlain family today and hope that the catchphrase of "That dingo ate my baby!" will live on.
